TIME FLIES AND OTHERS BY IVES

TIME FLIES AND OTHERS BY IVES
written by David Ives
directed by Jordana Kritzer

TIME FLIES AND OTHERS BY IVES showcases the wit and whimsy of master wordsmith David Ives by featuring six of his most side-splitting shorts about Time! Among them: two lonely mayflies discover that their entire lifespan is only one day…a Masterpiece Theatre-style murder mystery in which time reverses itself…two blue-collar Mesopotamians who are pressed to finish building the Tower Of Babel! TIME FLIES AND OTHERS BY IVES is a breezy, funny peek into the mind of one of America’s foremost playwrights!

The evening includes the plays “Time Flies,” “Degas, C’est Moi” and “Dr. Fritz Or The Forces Of Light” (from off-Broadway’s “Mere Mortals and Others“) as well as “Babel’s In Arms” and “The Mystery at Twicknam Vicarage” (from Philadelphia Theatre Company’s “Lives Of The Saints“) and “Arabian Nights,” which premiered at the Humana Festival in 2000.

Featuring: Amy Broder (off-Broadway’s “Tony and Tina’s Wedding,” Upright Citizens Brigade), David Ledoux (Romeo in “Romeo and Juliet” at Cocteau Rep), Nathan Kaufman (Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey), Jordan Coughtry, Collin Mackenzie Smith, Jordana Kritzer, Jessica Morris, Emily Madison and David Arsenault.
